Woo! We have IRL birthdays together, then, mine is the 15th! Not Halo's though, so the party can still be all you. I'll look forward to it, if I'm able to show I will!

Name: K'Tanni Derokin Call Sign: Whisper Age: 24 (equivilant) Height: 5'5 Weight: 122 lbs Hair: Red and orange Eyes: silver History - K'tanni hails from the planet Desol, a world primarily ruled over by Magocracy and Technocratic factions. Near the end of the planet's history these opposing powers had been involved in a 100 year civil war of the two factions vying for superiority, going long enough that it had managed to drag the entirity of the planets major super powers into it. This war cumulated in an event later known as The Rending; both forces had convereged on The Glass City, one of the largest (and unaligned) cities on the planet. As the two sides unleashed their ultimate weapons a violent reaction occured, opening up a rift to the Qliphothic, large enough to drag the whole city into the realm.. Fiends quickly began to move out of what had once been The Glass City, causing havoc and occasionally dragging survivors back to fates best left unknown. As the fiends began creating nests and moving further from the city, both sides knew they must put their differences aside to fight this threat to their world's survival. They failed. Descended from the renowned mystic scholar Dero Antelis, K'Tanni grew up as the youngest child in a noble household with few responsibilities but many expectations. Sadly, most of these expectations were not lived up to, as it was discovered fairly quickly that she did not possess the affinity for magic that was so common to her House. Still, she was intelligent and driven, and when she was old enough she signed up for the military academy. K'Tanni advanced through her studies rapidly, quickly showing a great understanding and love for all things technological and progressing her arcane skills to a level that was at best deemed "satisfactory". In short time she graduated from the academy at the top of her class, allowing her to join the short list of FURY pilot candidates. She fought admirably, carrying out over a dozen successful operations with her squad, but it was quickly apparent that the war had been lost. K'Tanni was one of only 3 members of her squad that made it off planet during the evacuation, eventually making her way to Earth. To the best of her knowledge she is the last of her people. Powers - War time R&D advances with the cooperation between mage scholars and technocrat scientests have lead to the Discipline of Cybermancy, a hybrid of the two idealogies. This lead to more effective measures against the Qliphothic Spawn, none of them more so than the FURY battlesuits; symbiotic bio-technological suits made from the DNA ,(or more commonly bodies), of Qliphothic horrors and bound to a user. These armors gave their wielder unique powers similar to their enemy, and when not in use they would submerge themselves into the body of its owner, allowing for quicker deployment than traditional "hard-tech" mechs. However they still could be removed like traditional power armrs for repair or upgrades; some pilots would even gain the ability to create multiple forms for their armor, allowing multiple uses in various tactical situations. Still, being symbiotically bound to a horror from beyond is not without its inherent risks... Theme song! - link

A new message is passed out to all the lose membership of the super group, how this reaches each character varies, Rain, Psiren and Glamour simply get text messages like last time, others might get emails, messages left with trusted associates or even left out on a rooftop in an area that character tends to patrol... how the message gets too you isn't as important as the information it contains
"Trouble is on the rise in Westside, the Waterfront and Hamtramck. Recent clean ups by heroes and the MCPD have successfully weakened many of the organized gangs in the area such as the Cobra Lords, Latin Kings, Maniacs and Black Aces, however a new gang with roots in North Detroit called the Conquerors have started to moved in, in many places even managing to co-opt many members of the gangs that they are replacing. Something needs to be done and quickly...
I will be using the forums and skype rp as well as in game to progress this plot line so feel free to contribute however you wish

Dropping down into the overstuffed leather office chair Stephanie quickly fires up her computer and starts typing up an email to her friends. The short and simple text message she had received the day before had her intrigued, last time her mysterious contact had lead her to Vibora Bay and her first meeting with fellow heroes Rain and Psiren as well as the enigmatic vigilante Black Mask. The seemingly simple case of grave robbery had lead them all into a race to stop a deadly confrontation between a Metahuman gang leader and a deadly assassin, she absently wondered where this tip might lead... FROM: StephyBalt@MCMail.com TO: WYLDETHINGS.maillist@SOCRATES SUBJECT: Hey all Hey guys take it you also got that text? I did a little digging around about these "Conquerors", and by digging I mean I pestered my mum about them... handy having family in law enforcement she gave me some interesting background till she figured out I wasn't just making polite conversation and then got mad and gave me a leacture on leaving stuff to the 'proper authorities', she's still super not cool about the whole hero deal Anyway bottom line these guys were apparently total nobodies till about four or five months back, seriously they weren't even in the top ten criminal gangs in North Detroit the worst things on most of there members rap sheets were things like vandalism and disturbing the peace, then all of a sudden they are making big moves pushing into a lot of hard crime and forcing the established gangs out they more or less dominate the gang scene over there now. If they are making a move to expand into Millennium then we should take it seriously cos otherwise our hard work busting Poe and breaking up that gang alliance is gonna be for nothing , from what little I got out of my mum before she calmed up these jokers are seriously bad news ps: for anyone that isn't a native MC'er North Detroit is a suburb made up for whats left of the northwest of Detroit that wasn't touched by Dr Destroyers doomsday laser, if you haven't been I'd recommend not bothering it is kinda skeevy, real run down with lots of vacant lots, strip clubs and liqueur stores and sadly not much else of note, peeps kinda blame the fact it's not fairing so well on Millennium buuuuut I so not a political pundit so I'm not going to get into that one . What I can say for a fact is the police force down there are nowhere near as in control as they are here and they let a lot of stuff slide and as for a super hero presence goes all they really have are a bunch of teens called the 'Motorcity Defenders'. Leaning back in her chair Stephy quickly hits the send button before alt+tabbing away to the Superworld forums too check the latest hero gossip.

Real Name: Jenna Mercado Alias: Pagan Height: 5'1 Weight: 109 lbs Eyes: Brown (Blue when powers are active) Hair: Purple with pink highlights Registered with PRIMUS: Yes Secret Identity: Yes History- Excerpt from Super Heroes and Villains in History, by Jenna Mercado -
Raquel Corazon was born on October 23, 1234 to Manuel Corazon and Maria Estacado. There are no records of her father aside from his name, but Maria had been a well known apothecary of the time, who had been burned at the stake for witchcraft soon after her daughters birth. It had been widely rumored that maria had trafficked with infernal entities for some time, but her child's unusual condition seemed to be the last proof the townsfolk needed. It would seem that Raquel had been born with bright purple hair and skin as black as shadows. Records do not mention what happened to Raquel after her mother's death. Her name does not appear again until nearly 17 years later when she is branded Pagan by the Spanish Inquisition. Official records claim her as a witch and a demon spawn, but casual reading seems to suggest that she merely had powers of shadow control and a fair degree of psionic talent. Most physical descriptions state her of a woman of average height and build who appeared to be made solely of shadows with a faint red glow surrounding her. In the single interview given to inquisitors upon capture, she described herself as a tear in reality - a gate to The Abyss. There are a few other articles on her as well but they seem to tell us nothing more than she had escaped the Inquisition and went into hiding only to re-emerge periodically and perform deeds that some might consider heroic, for the time. Jenna was born in Seattle, Wa - an only child who was unfortunate enough to be going to a Catholic School when she began manifesting her powers. The daughter of a mechanic specializing in repairing "super-mobiles" and a mother who apparently never existed, Jenna began to manifest the uncontrollable ability to summon shadows before she reached high school. To help her keep her abilities in check, one of her father's friends began to train her in sorcery, before she was eventually moved to Halcyon Academy in Millennium City. Excerpt from Super Heroes and Villains in History, by Jenna Mercado - Ironically, despite a much shorter life span, there is a much larger amount of information available on the second Pagan than the first. Some of this information may be considered anecdotal, at times little more reliable than folklore or urban legend, but I have tried my best to separate what is useless from what is plausible.
Betina Martinez was born February 2, 1622 to Miguel and Elizabeth Martinez in a small village that had once been a military installment and would eventually become Pensacola, Florida. Much like Raquel Corazon, Betina had been born with bright purple hair, although physically this seems to be their only striking similarity.
Betina also had the misfortune to be born with pronounced canines and large talons that protruded from her fingertips. Of course, this led to widespread fear and aggression against her parents who were eventually exiled from their town, although records show that they still occasionally returned to trade with the townsfolk.
Records of Betina begin to appear near the spring of 1637, the earliest being a report of one Armando Ivanez who claims to have been set upon by wild beasts while lost in the woods. He goes to claim that he was saved by a strikingly beautiful young woman with bright purple hair who fought off the beasts with a ferocity that matched their own, and that the shadows of the very forest seemed to come to her aid. She would then go to silently lead him back to the edge of town. Later reports seem to conform to this story, although as they progress some would go on to say that the shadows would begin to cover the woman like a sort of shroud. Some would say that when asked her name, she would give it as Betina, and others as Pagan.
Nearly 3 years later, town records make mention of a group identifying themselves as The Tenebrous descending up on the town, asking the citizens what they knew of 'The Demon Child' - however, beyond this, there is little other information on this group and their interest in Pagan.
The single largest amount of reliable information on the second Pagan would come from a Raphael Torres, a Spanish merchant settler who would claim many meetings with Pagan, and eventually, to have fathered a child with her - one Mercedes Torres. Raphael said Betina had told him many things – among them that she was a direct descendant of the original Pagan, that like her ancestor her soul was a gateway to The Abyss. He reported that she always seemed nervous, as if she was waiting for something horrible to happen. Soon after the birth of his daughter, (June 3, 1647), Raphael disappeared from all public records, although his journals had been found in his home.
Betina Martinez died on August 13, 1649, fighting something that the townsfolk alternately described as a giant winged beast and a woman that looked eerily similar to Pagan. They say the fight lasted for hours, and that entire sections of country side had been demolished in the fray. The final battle occurred atop a large bluff, and that both fighters fell to their death. Pagan's body was recovered and given a proper burial, although the grave was left unmarked. Her opponent's was never found. After graduating Halcyon Academy, Jenna had gained a fair deal of control over her powers, if not complete mastery and was acknowledged by her peers and teachers as an accomplished sorceress and hero. Still, she knows she has forces from her past - her family history coming for her. They have tried before. They will try again. And some nights she can still feel the call of the shadows coursing through her veins, like a wordless whisper, calling to her - where to, she hopes never to know. Powers- Jenna's soul contains a shard of Abyss - a direct link to the primordial essence of oblivion. This gives her the ability to summon and manipulate the very essence of the Abyss itself, creating minions of nothingness and opening tears in reality to draw foes to an entropic demise. Being, in essence a magical black hole, she uses sorcery to keep her powers in check. Most people would describe her as nervous or timid, not realizing the truth until they get to know her - she's not afraid, she's concentrating. Theme song - >.>

Something needs to be done and quickly...On the edge of one of the tallest skyscraper in Millennium City, looking towards the east, stands a young woman, the wind whipping through her dyed, two toned hair. As the sky starts to lighten, the blues giving way to soft husky purples she closes her eyes. She feels the the tingling that comes with the sun washing through her. Seconds before the sun rises, she opens her eyes as they glow with ancient, primal power. She feels the Ba inside her, her very soul expand, welling out from the mortal shell to greet Ra, the mighty Sun God. She feels her Ba become infused with the arcane energy which she can use at her discretion. In the precious seconds of the sun's rising, she stands there transfixed, caught in that precious moment. As the bottom of the sun clears the horizon she feels the Ba return back into her form and she exhales. It was both bliss and torture each dawn and each dusk when she must follow that ancient custom. The feeling of the energy was divine but for those few minutes its like feeling death all over again. With another sigh she takes the side step out of this plane and into the shadow veil between this world and the afterlife. When she steps back through she is in her sanctum, well not really hers but passed down through all that carry the Akh. She flops down in one of the chairs and picks her phone off the table to quickly check any texts.

She rolls her eyes as she tosses her phone back on the table. Having lived years on the streets, she more then knew how it went. One gang is toppled, one takes it place. Didnt matter if it was the police, superheros or a rival gang that took them down, there was always another. Sometimes it filled her with an exhaustion but she also knew she couldnt do nothing. With a heavy breath she stood back up and reentered the shadow veil....
Time to ask some questions....
